Each match is recorded as an activity with heart rate, and GPS runs while the activity is on.

Fifteen older models with less memory – fēnix 5, 5S, 6 and 6S, fēnix Chronos, Enduro, Forerunner 55, 245, 645 and 935, Venu Sq, vívoactive 3, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E – run a compact version with the same scoring and rules but fewer extras, for example without the stats and sounds page and the score editor. The Instinct 2, 2S and 2X, the Instinct Crossover (the AMOLED model works) and the Descent G1 have too little memory for the app.

Garmin and the PadelCounter phone app

The watch scores on its own – no phone needed on court. Linked with the PadelCounter app on iPhone or Android, the phone shows every point live, can call out the score through a speaker and keeps your finished matches in its history and statistics. All watch settings are also in the Garmin Connect app.
